In this system, if you do not climb over others, you stay grounded.

Day 17 of 28, Trust in government drops when leaders act erratically: November 1963. Johnson took office in trauma with no public fitness assessment. Clear frameworks rebuild confidence in how decisions are made.

Leaders gain status by making bold commitments and then skillfully ‘forgetting’ them, treating our expectations as the real joke.

Day 16 of 28, Stress narrows vision: March 2003. Systems can catch this before it becomes policy.

Day 15 of 28, A leader’s stress radiates outward to their staff: January 1986. Engineers warned; launch pressure overrode them. Psychological fitness at the top protects the entire decision chain.

The hit lands before you can name it. Two signals fire at once, both feel like danger. First move: turn down the volume, not pick a side.

Day 14 of 28, We are halfway through: April 1970. Apollo 13 was halfway to the moon when the tank failed. Every signature today builds similar mechanisms for our leaders.

Day 13 of 28, After a national crisis, we rarely look at the leaders directing recovery: April 1945. Roosevelt died; Truman had been vice president eighty-two days. Fitness checks ensure capacity before the crisis hits.

This week, the herd experiments with boundaries; management helpfully rebrands them as growth opportunities.

Hundreds of people did not ask for this. They do not see the end. They wake up to another day of noise and dust and waiting, trapped in a room they never chose.
