This week, our cube-cows run a 15-minute standup for 45 minutes straight: yesterday was meetings, today is meetings, and the only blocker on the board is the meeting itself.
But why:
This is part of an experiment: count the Tales from the Cube Farm strips before robots feel like ordinary coworkers. Call it a cartoon stopwatch for the end of the “human-as-robot” era.
AI does the creative work: joke, visual concept, finished panel. Humans only curate. That swap is the point.
Industrialization taught people to act like machines first, but we hardly lose our human nature, for good or bad. These AI cow-workers show how we learned to look like machines at work. They also show the human nature that never fully left, before the real robots move in.
