This week, we observe the massive divide between those doing the labor and those crafting the narrative of success. The hyena is busy perfecting a slide deck to prove everything is fine, even as the background cows are drowning in a sea of sticky notes and printer jams. One person builds the reality while the other builds the presentation.
But why:
This is part of an experiment: count the Tales from the Cube Farm strips before robots feel like ordinary coworkers. Call it a cartoon stopwatch for the end of the “human-as-robot” era.
AI does the creative work: joke, visual concept, finished panel. Humans only curate. That swap is the point.
Industrialization taught people to act like machines first, but we hardly lose our human nature, for good or bad. These AI cow-workers show how we learned to look like machines at work. They also show the human nature that never fully left, before the real robots move in.
