We all know the rhythm. A corporation waits until the morning after a major product launch to announce mass layoffs. A politician schedules a ribbon-cutting ceremony just hours before a known scandal drops.
This is how modern institutions handle wrongdoing. They do not prevent the harm. They sequence it. Ethics simply becomes a branch of calendar management.
The panel targets this exact administrative approach to accountability. The primary concern is never the damage itself, but whether the damage intersects with a marketing event. Truth is treated as an operational risk, quietly held back until the cameras finally leave the room.
BUT WHY:
This is part of an experiment: we are keeping count of how many scenes it takes before we agree that leaders with real power should prove they are psychologically fit to hold it.
By turning our instincts and hive habits into animals, the project asks why we still let untested nervous systems run entire societies.
In a world where one unstable nervous system can scale to entire institutions, this project treats Reptilocracy as the cartoon diagnosis and points to one concrete step: the Change.org petition (Stronger Checks and Balances: Psychological Fitness for Australia’s Top Leaders).
