W24Reptilocracy 🦎🏛️ The Bridge Is Open
Teaser
The leader did not lie; reality simply failed to align with his remarks. We do not question his sanity; we only wonder why the landscape is being so difficult.
TLDR
The bridge is open, provided you ignore the chasm. Institutions prioritize monitoring a leader’s mood over auditing their psychological fitness. It is easier to blame the landscape for non-alignment than to question the man at the podium.Context
The podium is a sovereign territory where the bridge is always intact. If the stone fails to meet the rhetoric, it is a failure of the terrain, not the man. The ants will learn to fly, or they will simply fall, but the official record will show a successful opening ceremony.
We spend all our energy debating whether the leader is having a good day or a bad day. We watch the temper, the smile, and the shout, yet we never once ask if he can see the gap in front of him.
The institution does not require a bridge to function; it only requires the stamp of continuity. As long as the remarks are issued, the reality of the chasm is merely a technical inconvenience.
BUT WHY:
This is part of an experiment: we are keeping count of how many scenes it takes before we agree that leaders with real power should prove they are psychologically fit to hold it.
By turning our instincts and hive habits into animals, the project asks why we still let untested nervous systems run entire societies.
In a world where one unstable nervous system can scale to entire institutions, this project treats Reptilocracy as the cartoon diagnosis and points to one concrete step: the Change.org petition (Stronger Checks and Balances: Psychological Fitness for Australia’s Top Leaders).
