This week, a leader finally finds his ideal audience after realizing his colleagues have replaced critical thinking with reflexive agreement.

This week, our cube-cows learn feedback comes pre-chewed: the manager never speaks directly, just sends the office dog to fetch the bad news, tail wagging the whole way.

This week, we observe the massive divide between those doing the labor and those crafting the narrative of success. The hyena is busy perfecting a slide deck to prove everything is fine, even as the background cows are drowning in a sea of sticky notes and printer jams. One person builds the reality while the other builds the presentation.

This week, our cube-cows throw a full Agile transformation parade through the office (Scrum, Kanban, ceremonies, drums, flags), while the one cow actually working the bug pile just mutters, ‘Still broken.’

This week, the leadership retreat celebrates collaborative excellence while Dawg Raymond documents the exact moment his coworkers stole his Sunday labor.

This week, the company announces AI is the new team lead, so Dawg Raymond is currently teaching a laptop how to perfectly mimic his existential dread.

This week, our cube-cows watch the hyena steal an idea in the hallway and pitch it back in the next meeting, forty minutes later, as his own.

This week, our cube-cows run a 15-minute standup for 45 minutes straight: yesterday was meetings, today is meetings, and the only blocker on the board is the meeting itself.

This week, the boss insists collaboration requires physical proximity, so Dawg Raymond is currently holding a high-stakes meeting with the empty chair across from him.

This week, one cow prepares the talk. The manager cow just can’t let the opportunity of a spotlight go: ‘As you can see from my work…’
